The article investigates if people's answers to satisfaction surveys change based on whether they have taken the survey before. The study uses data from three European countries and finds that there is a negative effect on survey responses when people have participated in the survey before. This finding could be important for understanding trends in life satisfaction over time and may lead to more research on how survey participation affects economic data collected from households.
