The study looked at how the foreign sector affects inflation and pricing in an economy with Dutch Disease. They used a model to estimate these effects in the Iranian economy. The results showed that when considering the open economy, prices are less sticky, firms are more forward-looking, and the cost of production plays a big role in inflation.
