Food security and nutrition are major concerns due to climate change, bioenergy use, and high food prices. Many people lack access to safe water and sanitation. Despite enough food globally, over 820 million people in developing countries have insufficient diets. The goal of reducing hunger by 2015 is not being met quickly enough.
