Pakistan's tax revenue is low compared to similar countries, hindering economic growth. To address this, the study developed a new method to estimate how tax revenue changes with economic growth. The results show that a tax system with low flexibility cannot fully benefit from economic growth. To increase revenue, Pakistan needs to expand the tax base, improve tax administration, and streamline tax policies at all government levels.
