Pakistan's tax revenue is low compared to similar countries. To improve this, the researchers studied how tax revenue and economic growth are connected. They found that a tax system with low flexibility can't benefit from economic growth fully. To increase revenue, Pakistan needs to expand the tax base, improve administration, and make tax policies more rational at all government levels.
