A study on fish species in the northern Oman Sea used a computer model to understand how they interact in their ecosystem. The model showed that most fish eat a variety of foods, but sharks and rays are affected by fishing. The ecosystem is still developing, with a mix of fish that eat plankton, detritus, and other fish. The model suggests that the ecosystem is being overfished, and better management is needed to protect it.
