Organic liquid manures boost okra yield, revolutionizing farming practices.
The researchers studied how different organic fertilizers and biofertilizers affect the yield of okra plants. They used liquid organic solutions like Panchagavya, Vermiwash, Jeevamrit, and Cow urine, along with biofertilizer Azospirillium, in combination with inorganic fertilizers. The results showed that the treatment with a combination of Jeevamrit, Vermiwash, and Panchagavya, along with recommended fertilizers, significantly increased the economic yield of okra. This treatment resulted in larger and more abundant fruits, leading to higher yields per plant and per hectare compared to using only inorganic fertilizers.
