Altruistic education key to reducing U.S. wealth inequality, study finds
This study looks at how parents passing down wealth and investing in their children's education can help explain why wealth inequality is so high in the U.S. They found that when parents are altruistic and pass down both money and education, it can account for the large wealth gap compared to income. This shows why rich families tend to leave more money to their children, and why inherited wealth plays a big role in overall wealth.
