The study looked at how offshoring affects the demand for different types of workers in Swedish manufacturing firms. They found that offshoring goods or services doesn't lead to high-skilled jobs moving out of the country. In fact, offshoring actually increases the need for high-skilled workers in Swedish firms, especially when it comes to service offshoring.
