Bus beats other transportation modes in Cartagena due to lower travel time.
The study looked at transportation data from Cartagena De Indias to compare different modes of travel. By using probit and conditional logit models, researchers found that people prefer modes of transportation with shorter travel times and less waiting time. Surprisingly, when travel times and costs are equal, people actually prefer taking the bus over other options.
