The study looked at how education, experience, and training affect wages and productivity in Mexico. Highly educated workers are more productive, but they don't always earn more. Workers with more experience are both more productive and earn more in medium and large firms. In contrast, workers in small firms are paid more than their productivity would suggest. Training benefits both workers and firms by increasing productivity and earnings.
