Revolutionizing Maize Yield with Integrated Organic and Inorganic Fertilizers!
Combining organic and inorganic nitrogen fertilizers can boost maize crop yield. A study tested different nitrogen sources like farmyard manure, mushroom spent, and urea on maize plants. The best results came from using a mix of 50% urea and 50% farmyard manure, leading to taller plants, more ears per square meter, more grains per ear, heavier seeds, higher biological yield, and greater grain yield. This shows that using a mix of these fertilizers can significantly improve maize growth and yield.
