Weak Food Safety Audits in Indonesian Industry Pose Global Trade Risks.
The article discusses how the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) system was implemented and developed in the food industry in Indonesia to improve food safety for international trade. The researchers identified issues in small and medium food industries, provided training and guidance, and implemented HACCP management systems. The food safety audits showed that five industries met the requirements for food safety practices, but improvements are needed in areas like facility cleanliness and personnel hygiene.
