Farmers in Germany are being surveyed about their willingness to accept lower profits in exchange for more sustainable farming practices, specifically mixed cropping with legumes and non-legumes. The study found that factors like risk attitude, age, and location influence farmers' willingness to make this trade-off. This research aims to understand how farmers view the profitability of mixed cropping as a way to promote sustainability in agriculture.
