Sulphur-enriched sesame boosts yields, transforming livelihoods of smallholder farmers.
The study looked at how different sources and levels of sulfur affect the growth and yield of kharif sesame plants. They tested Bensulf and gypsum as sulfur sources, and found that Bensulf led to better growth and yield. Among different sulfur levels, applying 40 kg per hectare resulted in the highest growth and yield for kharif sesame plants.
