New Rice Genotypes Promise Stable High Yields Across Environments.
Rice grain yield stability was studied in nine different rice genotypes across three regions over four cropping seasons. Genotypes 2, 5, and 4 showed the highest grain yield, with genotypes 2, 3, 4, 5, and 10 being the most stable. Factors like plant height, tiller number, and grain characteristics also varied significantly among genotypes. Overall, genotypes 1 and 5 were identified as the most stable based on different stability analysis methods.
