The article analyzes Ukraine's foreign trade activities to improve the country's economic development. By studying statistical data and analyzing the structure of exports and imports, it was found that Ukraine's foreign trade policy needs improvement. The country relies heavily on raw materials and food exports, while importing a lot of energy and finished products. To enhance the state policy, it is suggested to focus on high-efficiency export industries, promote environmental practices in businesses, and support the creation of value-added products. Expanding trade agreements with developing countries and creating a competitive market environment are also important steps to boost Ukraine's competitiveness in the global market.
