The study looked at how different types of mulch affect the growth of Rabi onions. They tested various mulches like plastic, rice bags, and paddy straw to see how they affected soil temperature and moisture. They also tested the drip irrigation system to see how well it worked at different pressures. The results showed that black plastic mulch was the best for keeping soil moisture and temperature stable, while the drip system worked best at 1.2-1.5 kg cm-2 pressure. Increasing pressure improved irrigation efficiency and uniformity.
