Salicylic acid was tested on wheat plants to see how it affected their growth and yield under different planting conditions. The study found that applying salicylic acid helped the plants grow better and produce higher yields, especially when the plants were sown on time. The best results were seen when the plants were treated with a high concentration of salicylic acid both as a seed soak and foliar spray. Overall, salicylic acid treatments reduced the negative effects of heat stress on the plants and improved their overall health and yield.
