The current state of the securities market in Kyrgyzstan is reviewed, including the volume of debt securities and foreign investments in corporate securities. The study shows that commercial banks are key in developing the securities market by issuing, investing, and acting as intermediaries. The article also suggests a program to improve the government securities market in the long term.
