Wheat Farmers Boost Yields and Water Efficiency with Superabsorbent Polymer and Irrigation
The study looked at how adding extra water and a special gel can help wheat crops grow better. They tested different amounts of water and gel on wheat plants and found that giving water in June and using a lot of gel gave the best results. This made the wheat yield more and use water more efficiently. Using the gel alone without extra water didn't help much. The best combination was giving water in June with a medium amount of gel, which increased the wheat yield by 134.8% and water use efficiency by 94.4%. Overall, giving water in June with some gel was the most effective way to grow wheat in dry areas.
