Optimizing irrigation boosts wheat yields, revolutionizing agricultural productivity.
The study looked at how different irrigation schedules affect the productivity of late-sown wheat varieties. They found that using a 1.0 IW/CPE ratio resulted in the highest plant height, number of tillers, and grain and straw yields. The variety PBW-373 showed the best performance in terms of tillers, dry matter accumulation, and yield, while HUW-234 had the tallest plants and highest leaf area index. Overall, the irrigation schedule and wheat variety had a significant impact on the growth and yield of the crops.
