The study looked at how women in Rajasthan have participated in state legislative assembly elections from 1952 to 2018. In the past, women had limited rights in society and politics, but their political participation has slowly increased over time. While female voter turnout is almost equal to male voters, the number of women running as candidates is still low. Women in Rajasthan still have a long way to go before achieving equal political participation with men.
