Optimizing Wheat Crop Yield with Nitrogen and Phosphorus Ratios in Soil
The study looked at how nitrogen and phosphorus levels in soil affect the growth and yield of wheat crops. They found that adding 160 kg of nitrogen per hectare improved biological yield and grain weight, while 90 kg of phosphorus per hectare resulted in the highest grain yield. The use of nitrogen and phosphorus together didn't affect yield. The study suggests that measuring chlorophyll levels in plants can help estimate their nitrogen and phosphorus levels and potential yield.
