Potato waste turned into super-nutrient-rich compost by earthworms! 🌱🪱
Researchers studied how earthworms can turn leftover potato plants into nutrient-rich compost. They used a mix of potato plants and cow dung in one group and only potato plants in another. The compost made with both materials had more nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. The earthworms helped break down the materials, making the compost better. The compost made with both potato plants and cow dung was the best in quality and quantity after 60 days.
