The study looked at how profitable and viable catfish marketing is in Onitsha, Nigeria. Researchers surveyed 65 catfish sellers and found that transportation costs are a major challenge. Despite this, catfish marketing in the area is profitable and viable, with a return on investment of 22.17% and a gross margin ratio of 18.14%. The study suggests that improving storage facilities and roads could help reduce transportation costs and make catfish marketing more successful.
