The article analyzes pollution patterns in Kolkata, India, focusing on levels of pollutants like [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text]. Data from 15 years of observations by pollution control boards is used. The study looks at trends, seasonal variations, and the impact of events like Kali Puja and Diwali on pollution levels. A statistical model is developed to forecast pollution levels a few days ahead.
