Solid waste management in Woldya Town, Ethiopia, faces challenges like illegal disposal methods and lack of awareness, manpower, and facilities. The study used interviews, questionnaires, and observation to gather data. Residents burn, dump, or ditch waste illegally. To improve, the community suggests increasing funding, raising awareness, and promoting waste reduction. Environmental education can change attitudes and community involvement is crucial.
