Biofertilizers boost garlic yield by 25%, saving 25% on NPK fertilizers.
The study looked at how different types of fertilizers affect the growth and quality of garlic plants. They found that using biofertilizers like Azotobacter and PSB, along with NPK fertilizers, led to taller plants, bigger bulbs, and higher yields. The best results were seen when using a combination of biofertilizers and NPK fertilizers, with the highest yield achieved when using 100% NPK and both biofertilizers. This method resulted in a similar yield to using 100% NPK alone, but with a 25% reduction in the amount of NPK fertilizers needed.
