Revolutionizing farming in Uganda: No-tillage boosts bean yield and profits!
The study looked at different ways of preparing soil for growing beans in Uganda. They found that not tilling the soil or leaving plant residue on the ground helped store more water and produce higher bean yields. These methods also made better use of water and led to more profits for farmers. Overall, not tilling the soil and leaving plant residue were the best ways to grow beans in central Uganda.
