A study was done on different types of bitter gourd plants to see which ones produced the most fruit. They found that the Ludhiana Local variety had the highest yield per plant, followed by Preethi, Kerala Local, Vizag Local, and Faizabad Local. The plants showed significant differences in traits like fruit size and number of fruits per plant. This means that these varieties could be good choices for breeding programs to improve bitter gourd crops in the future.
