Climate Change Threatens Food Security, Economies in Sub-Saharan Africa
Climate change is having a big impact on agriculture, food security, health, and economies in sub-Saharan African countries. Global efforts like the Kyoto Protocol and UN programs are trying to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and help these countries adapt. However, there is still not enough information on how vulnerable these countries are to climate change. This review looks at how climate change affects sub-Saharan Africa and what strategies are being used to lessen its impact.
