A study looked at using a special reactor to clean up soft drink wastewater quickly. They used different settings like how long the water stayed in the reactor and how much air was pumped in. They found that longer time in the reactor and more air helped remove harmful stuff, while having more anaerobic space didn't help as much. The reactor could clean up most of the bad stuff in the water, like chemicals and nutrients, when run at the best settings.
