Domestic Communication Research Reveals Powerful Insights, Reshaping Advertising and Media Landscape
The study analyzed trends in domestic communication research using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. Researchers found that the most active scholar in this field was Professor Kim Bong-chul from Chosun University. Over 15 years, 43 domestic journal articles were published, with a focus on advertising, public relations, journalism, and other communication fields. Content analysis was the most common area studied, followed by message senders, channels, and receivers. Most AHP studies in South Korea did not use other research methods, and the average sample size was 38 people. Journalism and persuasive communication were compared, with journalism studies more actively comparing different perspectives.
