Increased water pressure boosts accuracy of water meters in Uganda.
Fluctuations in water pressure can affect how accurately water meters measure usage. A study in Uganda looked at three types of water meters over four years. They found that increasing pressure improved meter accuracy by different amounts for each model. Age didn't affect accuracy much, but after five years, accuracy stayed consistent. The type of meter used made a big difference in accuracy, with Model 2 performing the best. The study showed that higher pressure can lead to more accurate water meter readings, especially with certain meter models.
