The article analyzes how India trades with big trade groups like EU, NAFTA, and ASEAN. They looked at factors like GDP, distance, tariffs, and per capita GDP from 1991 to 2017. The study used a gravity model to see which trade blocs have the most trade with India. The results show that distance affects trade with EU and NAFTA as expected, but not with ASEAN. GDP has a negative impact on trade with EU, while it doesn't have a significant impact on trade with ASEAN and NAFTA.
