The article analyzes wind speed data from four regions in Iraq to assess their wind power potential. By using the Weibull distribution function, the researchers calculated monthly and yearly wind power density for each location. The results show which months have the highest wind power generation and classify the areas as having marginal to fair potential for wind power generation.
