Intermediaries play a crucial role in technology transfer projects. A review of over thirty years of literature identified thirteen key intermediation roles. These roles outline the responsibilities and activities intermediaries undertake in innovation and technology transfer. The research found that existing literature on intermediation roles is fragmented and lacks connections between proposed roles. The main goal of the study was to provide a comprehensive overview of the intermediation role in technology transfer.
