Normalizing Trade with China Didn't Destroy American Jobs After All
Trade with China, especially after 2000, did not cause the loss of U.S. jobs as many believe. The idea that giving China normal trade relations hurt American workers is flawed. While there were disruptions, blaming trade policies is not the solution. The real problems lie in other areas like governance and leadership failures. Increasing protectionism and ignoring past mistakes won't help. It's important to understand the complexities of trade and not jump to conclusions.
