Landowners in Washington State were surveyed about their interest in growing bioenergy crops. Most landowners were not familiar with bioenergy crops and were unlikely to grow them. They mentioned profit, soil preservation, and water quality as important factors in deciding which crops to grow. This study helps Extension professionals understand the challenges and benefits of growing bioenergy crops.
