Fiscal Dialogue in Europe Boosts Transparency and Coordination for Economic Growth
The article discusses the impact of expansionary fiscal policies on debt sustainability in Europe. It argues that increasing government spending does not necessarily lead to economic instability. The author reviews several studies on fiscal sustainability and concludes that it is not a major concern in the short to mid-term. The article suggests that European countries should continue their fiscal efforts by coordinating and being transparent about their fiscal policies. To achieve this, the author proposes establishing a Fiscal Dialogue with EU Member States to enhance communication and collaboration on fiscal matters.
