The article identifies different types of financial support for farmers in the EU under the CAP. Direct payments are the main form of support, followed by payments for "greening". Other support types are less important but still have a role. The researchers used data from the European Court of Auditors to analyze support structures in various EU countries from 2014 to 2020. The study shows that there are differences in the significance and structure of support instruments for farmers within the CAP.
