The air quality in Shanghai was studied in 2015. The main pollutants were PM2.5, O3, and NO2. Winter had the worst air quality, while summer had the best. Areas with traditional industries had poorer air quality than those on the city's edge. Overall, 70.7% of days had good air quality.
