Thematic analysis was used to study qualitative data from interviews, leading to the discovery of two main themes: management issues and employees' concerns. By breaking down the data into smaller parts called codes, researchers were able to develop these themes and create a general theoretical concept. This process helped them gain a deeper understanding of the evidence and its implications.
