The study looked at how efficiently Indonesia uses energy by examining energy intensity, which shows how much energy is used to create a certain amount of output. By using advanced analysis methods, the researchers found that as the economy grows and energy prices drop, energy use becomes more efficient. Industries becoming more advanced and the energy sources used also play a role in energy intensity. The results suggest that improving energy efficiency is more critical for lowering energy use than changing how industries are structured. The findings recommend promoting energy conversion to enhance energy efficiency in Indonesia.
