The study looked at how adding sewage sludge to soil affects its quality for growing crops. They tested different treatments on a tomato field in Algeria. The results showed that using sewage sludge with fertilizer improved the soil quality the most, making it better for farming. The sludge didn't harm the soil and actually helped increase the number of helpful bacteria and fungi in the soil.
