New Peanut Planting Method Boosts Yield and Profits Significantly!
The researchers studied how different planting densities affect the yield of a new peanut variety called Shanghua 4. They compared single-seed and double-seed sowing modes and found that at a planting density of 22.50 x 104 caves/ha, both modes produced the highest pod yields with no significant difference. As the planting density increased, the yield and pod number per plant decreased, while the full-pod rate and shelling percentage increased. Overall, single-seed sowing with a planting density of 22.50 x 104 caves/ha was the most effective in achieving the target yield and increasing economic benefits for Shanghua 4.
