Paper Summary

The study looked at changes in mangrove wetlands in the Luoyang River estuary using remote sensing and GIS. Over 15 years, built-up areas and transportation corridors increased, while forest and farmland decreased. The overall landscape integrity improved by 2006. Mangrove areas expanded over five times since 1993. The distribution of mangrove centroids shifted over time.
