The goal of the study was to find the best super rice varieties for planting in Nanning City. The researchers compared 14 different super rice varieties to see which ones had the highest yield and were ready to harvest at the right time. They found that four varieties, Zhunliangyou 1141, ⅡYou 602, Nei-2-you 6, and Teyou 582, had the highest yield and were suitable for planting in Nanning City. These varieties produced more grains per panicle and had a higher seed setting rate compared to the control variety. Other varieties showed mixed results, with some increasing yield and others decreasing it. Overall, the study provides valuable information for farmers looking to grow super rice in Nanning City.
