A study was conducted to see how using a mix of organic compost and inorganic nitrogen fertilizer affects cotton growth and soil fertility. Different combinations of nitrogen sources were tested, and the best results were seen with 75% nitrogen from fertilizer and 25% from vermicompost, leading to higher cotton yields and maintaining good soil health. This combination showed the highest efficiency in using nitrogen for plant growth and soil nutrient uptake compared to other combinations tested. Overall, using vermicompost along with fertilizer can help increase cotton yields and keep the soil healthy.
